The Blockchain Acceleration Foundation is a new nonprofit organization that advances blockchain technology in academia by starting accredited blockchain courses ,facilitating collaboration between blockchain researchers, sourcing speakers for educational events, and sharing best practices on building robust communities. In one year, we partnered with 11 university blockchain clubs, raised over $25,000 for our student organizations, started an accredited blockchain courses at UCLA and UCSB, created a research working group with professors in our network, established a world-class advisory board, got over 110 students to attend prestigious blockchain conferences across California, filled for tax exempt status, and built a passionate team of 16 volunteers.
